‘Bones’ season 9, episode 14 preview: ‘The Master in the Slop,’ and a chess battle

What’s going to be coming on “Bones” season 9? After some episodes that have been very emotional and tackled some issues for the characters that will last until near the end of this season, we are getting ready now to prepare for something very different in “The Master in the Slop.” There will be all sorts of fun stuff in here, whether it be a case all about chess, and also some good stuff when it comes to Brennan and Cam.

Before you do anything else, just take a look below at what the Fox says (the network, not the animal) you can expect:

“When the Jeffersonian team discovers the body of a renowned but disliked chess master amidst pig slop, Sweets surprises the team with his chess skills and goes undercover in the world of professional chess to find the killer. Cam is being recognized in the ‘Outstanding Woman of Science’ issue of a noted science publication but is hesitant to participate since she does not want to offend Brennan who knows she should be the one to be honored. Meanwhile, much to Brennan’s annoyance, Dr. Douglas Filmore (guest star Scott Lowell), the always sunny Canadian forensic podiatrist fills in as a lab intern.”

Will we see some more serious cases surfacing again in the future? Probably, but for now we have to say that we are pretty happy / relieved to have a little break. The drama can commence again later this season.

What do you want to see on “Bones” moving forward? As always, we want to hear from you below!
