ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: Boss talks questions for Stana Katic’s Beckett
Now that we have seen the Jackson Hunt saga played out as well as Ryan welcoming his daughter into the world, “Castle” is going to be diving in primarily to the Castle – Beckett relationship on the new episode airing Monday night. “Limelight” is a test to see if Beckett likes the idea of living in the public eye, and if there is anything that can be done in order to make her at least somewhat more comfortable.
For some more on that, and an episode featuring a sort of Miley Cyrus-inspired character that helps in part to make Stana Katic’s character address some of these issues (along with some other stuff), just take a look at what show creator Andrew W. Marlowe had to say to TV Guide:
“What happens when stories about [Rick] appear in the press that aren’t true? How does she feel? She’s kind of private person.”
Personally, we’re still somewhat surprised that there are stories appearing in the press at all about Castle’s personal life, mostly because there are not too many authors out there who really get this sort of treatment these days. Is this because a good chunk of America just doesn’t like to read anymore? Maybe, but it’s more geared towards the fact that celebrity culture tends to be more geared around selfies and Twitter accounts that people who spend most of their time doing something.
Regardless, this is an episode that could be important for the show long-term, and we are excited to see what happens.
What do you think: Is Beckett going to get over her fears of being in the public, or will Castle change the way that he is publicly in an effort to spend some more time with her? Be sure to share your thoughts below!

Castle cares more aBout Kate than the limelight. He wants to keep selling books, so book tours help with that. Kate trusts Castle so I think she will adjust to that part of his life.
