February is going to be a pretty fantastic month for those who love Adam Lambert. The 25th is going to be when you get a chance to see the singer / former “American Idol” contestant come back to “Glee,” and the day before that, there will be the premiere of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” season 6. At some point over the course of this season, he will be stopping by to lend his talents as a judge (now if only “American Idol” had been smart enough to snag him as a judge we’d really have something!)
Adam has connections to the Logo series already, at least in that former winner Sutan “Raja” Amrull has worked with him extensively as a makeup artist. It’s also just a really fun series that you would enjoy watching even if you don’t see many drag shows. The full line-up of celebrity judges this year includes the likes of Paula Abdul, Adam, “Game of Thrones” star Lena Headey, Khloe Kardashian, Eve, Trina, Jaime Pressly, Leah Remini, and many more. Despite Logo not being the largest network out there, RuPaul always manages to get a roster of fantastic people to appear on his show.
In a statement to Us Weekly (who first reported the news on the lineup of judging), RuPaul also gave this pretty-hilarious statement about the start time for the show:
“This season of RuPaul’s Drag Race is perfect for viewers who want to ‘butch it up’ after watching a month of Olympic figure skating!”
“RuPaul’s Drag Race” is the most successful entry in the Logo lineup, and we feel like it is the sort of show that at this point will go on just as long as their are people who enjoy being a part of it continue to feel that way.
