‘The Carrie Diaries’ season 2, episode 11 preview: First look at ‘Hungry Like a Wolf’
Is Samantha Jokes in love on “The Carrie Diaries”? When it comes to this character, it’s hard to ever really ask that question. It is much more common for her instead to simply lust over someone for a long time, and eventually continue on doing what she does best. Sure, the “Sex and the City” version played by Kim Cattrall did settle down a few times, but many of them met a predictable end.
There does seem to be quite a problem when it comes to a new man in her life, at least based on the first promo below for “Hungry Like a Wolf” airing next week: He’s already married, and in a surprise to no one, the wife is not too pleased to actually be meeting someone who is taking her husband away. Granted, that is just a tiny moment in what is a larger story, and you can read more about that by taking a look at the full synopsis below:
“When Bennet (guest star Jake Robinson) starts slacking at work, Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) tries to cover for him. However, when Larissa (Freema Agyeman) finds out, things backfire big time for them both. Samantha (Lindsey Gort) makes an uncharacteristic decision about her latest fling. Sebastian’s (Austin Butler) father (guest star Terry Serpico) asks him for a favor that could change Sebastian’s future forever. Meanwhile, Tom (Matt Letscher) is hoodwinked by another – beautiful – lawyer when negotiating a deal, and is advised by the person he least expects.”
So clearly, everyone is going to have plenty going on when it comes to their own lives, and Carrie is also getting closer and closer to figuring out what her own future in the Big Apple is going to be. The season finale is only a few weeks away, and that brings us another step closer to seeing how this chapter of Carrie’s story ends. Will the show have another season? We’ll get more into that after the finale, but right now we put the odds at around 50/50.
