ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6, episode 12 video: How Nathan Fillion, James Brolin’s characters meet again

“Castle” Monday night is looking more and more like a particularly big episode, and after watching the latest sneak peek for it, we are starting to believe more than ever that this is one that is worth watching (as if you weren’t going to tune in to begin with).

In the sneak peek below, you have a chance to find out how James Brolin’s character of Jackson Hunt re-enters the picture, and it is in a way that is certainly going to surprise. He arrives under another alter-ego of “Anderson Cross” (which seems like the sort of fake name that most people would be able to sniff out), who is connected somehow to a case involving the death of a video-store clerk.

The real mystery lies in the way in which he enters the picture here. Prior to coming out on the screen for the first time, he calls Rick’s phone and tells him not to react to anything that is about to happen. Then, he shows up in the room, introduces himself to Castle and Beckett, and for at least a few seconds, Nathan Fillion’s character keeps it together. It is only later that we see Rick start to briefly question him.

Obviously, Jackson has his own mission here that is trying to accomplish, but this alone does not mean that Castle is going to be particularly willing to help him. He is a guy who has his own sort of priorities that he wants to try and take on, and not all of them may be either legal or moral.

What do you think about this video, and how long to do you think that it is going to take before Castle’s ruse falls apart? Share some of your thoughts below.
