People’s Choice Awards 2014: Live stream the red carpet pre-show

PCA -Are you ready for another year of awards given to fan favorites? We hope so, since you are now about to get it. The 2014 People’s Choice Awards are basically the Teen Choice Awards for older people, but it does always mark an opportunity to watch a reasonably-entertaining show where there are at least a few interesting things that happen here and there. But, then again we are not talking about the Golden Globes here. The odds of anything insane happening that you will talk about with your friends is very low.

So where can you get an opportunity to watch the lead-up to the big show? We have it for you here! In the video below, you can watch the entire PCA red carpet pre-show starting at 8:00 p.m. Eastern, where all of the biggest celebrities get together and talk about random things to a couple of hosts.

The one thing that we do like about the PCAs that can never be advertised enough is that it does give actors on network shows these days an opportunity for some recognition. When you think about it, cable dominates almost everything these days, and if you are on a show with 10 million viewers, it might be nice to be appreciated for something here and there. While the salaries some of these people get are pretty much awards themselves, it must be nice to occasionally get some recognition from other people about your contributions of the last year.

The actual show this year is hosted by Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs, who are getting an opportunity to cross-promote “2 Broke Girls” to a certain extent. Given that there have been few opportunities for this show to get cross-promotion, they have to see this as a win.

We will have some more news on the show, including the winners, up later at the link here. Therefore, don’t feel too bad if you decide not to watch, but still want to know what happened.
