‘Glee’ season 5: Who did Lea Michele travel to Mexico with?

Lea Michele has spent most of this week in Mexico, which has to come as some sort of nice break for her. Not only did she have to deal with tragedy over the summer, but there was also “Glee” filming in the fall and then music promotion during the holiday season.

Recently, we posted a photo of the actress while in the sunny locale, she has also posted some additional photos of herself in the country alongside Jonathan Groff, who has been a good friend of hers dating back to their days in the world of theater together. Groff has made some appearances on the show before as Rachel’s former boyfriend and Vocal Adrenaline coach Jesse St. James, but he has been rather busy as of late with some other shows. After playing a key part of “Boss” season 2, he now has his own show on HBO entitled “Looking,” which is going to air after “Girls” on Sunday nights starting next month.

Given that Lea has more music promotion and filming to come, and that Groff is going to do plenty of promotion for his show, this may have been the only opportunity that the two really had to spend time together for a while. We know that Lea is a lover of tropical vacations, though, and it could only be a matter of time before she decides to embark on her next fun trip.
