‘Arrow’ season 2 video: Stephen Amell plays part in latest stunt video

While we wait for new episodes of “Arrow” season 2 to air on The CW starting up on Wednesday, January 15, why not take a minute to once again embrace a touch of awesomeness that took place behind the scenes?

We’ve been discussing some of these new videos shown off by The CW for some time now, and in the latest one below, you can see that Stephen Amell actually did take part in at least some of his own stunts. The most impressive part of that is just that this is a guy who is putting in some ridiculous hours to try and deliver great performances time and time again.

The specific battle that is talked about here by fight coordinator James Bamford is one featuring the Arrow, the Canary (Caity Lotz), and also some members of the League of Assassins that are looking to take the two down a couple of notches. The reason that we feel like there are so many videos being posted out there right now featuring the Canary is simple: There is so much good stuff to show off when you have two heroes with weapons battling things out. The Canary has already become a fan favorite, even though it has been a little while since we last saw the character in the present day. Instead, Sara has been relegated a little bit more to flashbacks, though we have to believe that her work in present-day Starling City is far from over at the moment.
