‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4: Lucy Hale scores January 7 premiere date for music video

ABC Family and Lucy Hale are certainly very good when it comes to synergy. Not only does January 7 mark the return of “Pretty Little Liars” to the network, but it also marks the first opportunity that we are going to have to see the actress’ music video for “You Sound Good To Me.” Just in case this wasn’t exciting enough, we also know now that Lucy is going to actually premiere the video for the song on the network.

This big news was confirmed in a post on Twitter by Lucy, who had the following to say on the subject:

“Jan 7 is a great day. My single is releasing AND u can catch the world premiere of my music video for ‘you sound good to me’ on abc fam!!”

Lucy’s musical ambitions are something that has a pretty lengthy history on TV. This is a woman who first appeared on “American Juniors” many years ago before becoming a major scripted TV star, and she developed a small following there. The only part of this that may really be a surprise to some is that like her co-star in Sasha Pieterse (Ali), she is going in a country route. Usually, most double or triple-threats out there tend to dive into either the pop or the dance genres when they decide to put some music out there. Save for Pieterse, the best other comparison that we could make here is Julianne Hough, who went a musical route following her time on “Dancing with the Stars.”

This is going to be an especially eventful season of “Pretty Little Liars” for Lucy, as her character of Aria Montgomery is going to continue to try and come to terms with the fact that she is being terrorized by “A.” The surprise that she is waiting to find out? That “A” may very well be the man that she has loved for quite a long time in Ezra.
