‘Psych’ season 8 video: Prepare for new episodes with fun Shawn / Gus moments

While today may be a special holiday in New Year’s Day, it is also hard to deny that next week is going to be a time when a number of people start to jump up and down with glee. Why is that? It’s “Psych” premiere day! The start of season 8 will be upon us, and it’s looking to be a pretty fun handful of episodes. There will be mysteries, twists, turns, and all sorts of other stuff to be excited about.

Most of the four teaser promos below have nothing to do with anything really at all story-related, and they mostly exist therefore for one simple reason: Trying to make sure that you have a heck of a good time. They are all full little things that have been woven into the “Psych” fabric over the years, whether it is the phrase “suck it,” snacking, or just Shawn and Gus being goofy.

We do once again have to stress the importance of there being no comments in any of these promos saying that this is going to be the final season for the show, and we personally feel that to be very important in that it would be strange for USA to end a show after eight years without it really having a chance to film a proper “series finale.” While Maggie Lawson was not in all of these episodes thanks to her commitment to “Back in the Game,” the ABC comedy is now canceled. Therefore, there would be an opportunity for her to do more scenes as Juliet if there was an order for another 10-13 episodes to air next year. Fingers crossed.
