‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 4 spoilers: More news on Grace Park’s return as Kono

“Hawaii Five-0” may be taking some time off right now for the holidays, but come Friday, January 10, the show is going to return to CBS with new episodes, and also some great news: You’re going to be seeing a lot more Kono the rest of the way! After being away from the show at times throughout the first half of season 4, Grace Park will have a much more substantial part to play.

This first episode of the new year is entitled “O kēlā me kēia manawa” (“now and then”), and while we know that Kono is going to be around, the details about her part to play are still pretty scarce … save for that Adam will be involved. Take a look at the full synopsis below:

“McGarrett helps Grover investigate his friend’s disappearance after he apparently commits murder. Meanwhile, Kono continues her search for Adam.”

The big news for “Hawaii Five-0” the rest of the way is that with more Kono comes of course more of the show that you have come to love. There are also some big episodes coming a little later in the season, including that one designed by the fans. We were at first a little cynical on the idea, but have since come around and now have the perspective that this could be a pretty fun little experiment to watch unfold. It’s not something that has been done in this way before, given that you are basically giving the producers and writers a road map for a case that they then have to find a way to make work.

Also, you can expect to see way more of Chi McBride, given that he has been promoted to series regular following his arc as of late.
