‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 4 spoilers: More news on Grace Park’s return as Kono
“Hawaii Five-0” may be taking some time off right now for the holidays, but come Friday, January 10, the show is going to return to CBS with new episodes, and also some great news: You’re going to be seeing a lot more Kono the rest of the way! After being away from the show at times throughout the first half of season 4, Grace Park will have a much more substantial part to play.
This first episode of the new year is entitled “O kēlā me kēia manawa” (“now and then”), and while we know that Kono is going to be around, the details about her part to play are still pretty scarce … save for that Adam will be involved. Take a look at the full synopsis below:
“McGarrett helps Grover investigate his friend’s disappearance after he apparently commits murder. Meanwhile, Kono continues her search for Adam.”
The big news for “Hawaii Five-0” the rest of the way is that with more Kono comes of course more of the show that you have come to love. There are also some big episodes coming a little later in the season, including that one designed by the fans. We were at first a little cynical on the idea, but have since come around and now have the perspective that this could be a pretty fun little experiment to watch unfold. It’s not something that has been done in this way before, given that you are basically giving the producers and writers a road map for a case that they then have to find a way to make work.
Also, you can expect to see way more of Chi McBride, given that he has been promoted to series regular following his arc as of late.
Are you excited for the rest of the season? Let us know in the comment box below.

Kono returns, YAY! All is well in Five O’s world again. What might work great and keep Catherine around is to have her and Kono as a little undercover team within Five O. Dress those two up and they could snag just about any bad guy…

I love Steve and Catherine together I would like to see them take their relationship to the next level. Michelle Borth is a great addition to the five o team, and is a pleasure to watch.

I only watch 5-0 because of Alex, I like the other characters and the show but if Alex were to leave I wouldn’t be such a faithful viewer.

Very glad to see Kono return but the Adam story line needs to end, it has been and still is the worst and most dragged out story line on the show. Absolutely no chemistry and Adam is not only too stiff, the Yakuza/Cop coupling idea is so unrealistic/counter productive to Konos character it is ruining the show for allot of us. We will unfortunatey stop watching if it keeps going this direction, The show is supoposed to be a Team of Crime Fighters like NCIS/LA not this soap opera like mushy mellow drama crap, or the superhero/nemesis comic book story line of Wofat or Kono fighting of the entire Yakuza for a total jerk. Also stop giving Alex so much attention, not all viewers watch to see him, he is part of a Team of far more recognised actors that deserve as much face time, and trying to make him the show Sex Symbol/Hero is as nausiating as Adam. The show was much better in the beginning, and needs to keep its characters on a more realistic level in action, relationships and story details. We hope that these constructive critisizims help you improve the show as we truley appreciated it before the changes and Graces absence, and would hate to lose it Thank you.

I’m glad to see Kono come back. She will be great with McGarrett’s girlfriend. I hope they end the drama with the search for Adam soon. Either he’s dead or not.
