“Hollywood Game Night” may not have necessarily been a ratings machine when it first premiered on NBC over the summer, but it is quickly proving something else to us: This show is a machine when it comes to booking great TV-related talent. We cannot think of the last time that we saw a game / reality show get so many well-known people on it from all sorts of different TV shows. The vast majority of these people we’re more than familiar with, and many of them are even among the highest-paid people on TV.
Without wasting any more time, let’s go ahead and get in to that massive list of names that are appearing starting with the premiere on Monday, January 20:
Julie Bowen, Beth Behrs, Valerie Bertinelli, Lester Holt, Jason Alexander, Martin Short, Sean Hayes, Olivia Wilde, Jason Sudeikis, Alison Janney, Don Cheadle, Christina Applegate, Rosie O’Donnell, Penny Marshall, Chris Colfer, Taryn Manning, Donald Faison, Kaley Cuoco, Alison Sweeney, Fred Willard, Breckin Meyer, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Taraji P. Henson, Angela Kinsey, Jenna Elfman, Molly Shannon, Ellie Kemper, Bob Harper, Joel Madden, Nate Berkus, Erika Christensen, Michelle Trachtenberg, Mel B., Padma Lakshmi, Michael Weatherly, Yvette Nicole Brown, Anthony Anderson, Tiffani Thiessen, Pete Wentz, Adam Scott, Gary Dell’abate, Retta, Michael Chiklis, Tom Lennon, Paget Brewster, Mario Lopez, Alyssa Milano, Cobie Smulders, Taran Killam, Angie Harmon, Mark Feuerstein, Mayim Bialik, Henry Winkler, Ray Romano, Cheryl Hines, Gavin DeGraw, Rachel Bilson, Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker.
So basically, you have a ton of famous people from NBC, and then some stars from some other networks to boot. This is in the sort of show that is probably not the sort of thing that you are going to absolutely feel the need to watch every week, but it’s a nice little diversion. And with all the funny people on board, it could really be worth a spot on your DVR.
