‘NCIS’ season 11, episode 11 preview: Rocky Carroll in the spotlight in ‘Homesick’
Have you been wondering where in the world Rocky Carroll’s Vance has been as of late on “NCIS“? If you feel like he hasn’t quite had enough to do, which is perfectly understandable, you’re going to be in luck next week.
“Homesick” looks to be an extremely emotional episode based on the sneak peek below, which features Vance getting a “surprise visitor” who he does not have the best relationship with. (We don’t know why the promo is keeping it a surprise, since the promotional materials for the episode have already released who it is.) But what is probably even more important than that is that the major focus of this story is going to be all around things that can be best defined as a part of the “holiday spirit,” whether you are talking about love, forgiveness, peace, or understanding.
While Vance is dealing with his family crisis, there’s a very different sort of situation that will be unfolding for Pauley Perrette’s Abby back at the lab. Namely, she’ll be working to help halt an illness that is affecting the most innocent of victims: Children. Somehow, she’s keeping a positive spirit despite the seriousness of what she’s dealing with. Good luck keeping that going if the situation worsens.
In addition to this being the official holiday episode for the show this year, it’s also going to serve as the midseason finale. There won’t be another one after this until January, so it has the challenge of making sure that it leaves you on that perfect note where you feel something in the pit of your stomach, and you are excited to see what is coming up the rest of the way.
Based on the promo below, are you excited for an episode that focuses a little more on some other characters? Share some of your thoughts below! Also, click here if you want to read our full review for tonight’s “Devil’s Triad.”
