‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4: See Lucy Hale’s country side in new video

A new scene -Remember the days when Lucy Hale was on “American Juniors”? That was the last time that you may have gotten a sense of her musical talents. Since that time, she has found fame and a large audience doing such things as “Pretty Little Liars” and some film work, and obviously, she felt like now was the time for her to go back and embrace something that she feels was always a first love for her: Music.

What is kind of nice about the video below is that even if all you know about Lucy is that she played the part of Aria Montgomery on the ABC Family series, you are still going to be able to learn about her story and realize that it makes some sense that she is working hard on a country album, and exploring some of her roots back in Nashville. This is a disc that she has worked on pretty much every second that she is not filming, and as she gets ready to enter a hiatus from the series, she will get a chance to go into full-on recording mode.

So what do we expect to see from her? Think along the lines of a ton of TV gigs, whether it be talk shows or maybe even a primetime series, if she gets lucky enough. Maybe she could return to “How I Met Your Mother” and sing a song at Barney and Robin’s wedding? We also think it would be a cool idea to bring her on to an “American Idol” live show, mostly because “American Juniors” was an extension of that and this is another example of the franchise producing stars at the end of the day.

For those of you who care strictly about the music, you get an opportunity to hear in the video a few snippets of some of her songs, which feature a very traditional country sound that probably goes back to the sort of music that she started singing when she grew up.

“Pretty Little Liars” returns for the rest of season 4 come Tuesday, January 7, but we’ll have some more news about both the show and Lucy before that time. For now, just click here if you want to see more scoop related to the show.
