‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3, episode 4 video: Tim Matheson on big episode for Brick, Jaime King

Brick -Next week on “Hart of Dixie” season 3, it is going to be Halloween time in BlueBell yet again. So what does this ultimately mean? We should expect “costumes and craziness.” It would not be this show if there were not some social structures falling apart at the seams, and we are going to be see them coming up soon this time courtesy of Brick of all people.

So with that in mind, doesn’t it feel in some ways perfect that Tim Matheson is actually directing this episode (entitled “Help Me Make It Through the Night”)? We think so. In the video from The CW below, the man behind the character talks about his excitement over getting to helm this particular episode, and a little bit in terms of what we are going to be seeing from this role. Brick’s mother is going to arrive, and like many southern mothers, she is going to waste almost no time at all trying to get involved in just about every aspect of his business. This means that dating is included in that.

Just in case you were ever even remotely concerned that we won’t see some of our other favorite characters this week, don’t be: Both Zoe (Rachel Bilson) and Lemon (Jaime King) are going to have quite a bit to do, as they each try to push forward into what looks like normalcy for them again. However, both are in the middle of a pretty substantial change, at least in that Zoe has landed her old job back, and Lemon has distanced herself from the Belles. When you think about the attitude that she had at the start of the series, we personally find this move to be perhaps the biggest revelation of all. From this little move comes what could very well be all sorts of change in the future.
