‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3, episode 5 preview: First video of that Emma – Captain Hook kiss
Well, this “Once Upon a Time” season 3 episode is going to be the one that you have been waiting for: The moment that you finally see Emma Swan give in to the flirtations of one Captain Hook, but why would she go through with this? The first thing that you have to remember here is that Emma thinks her true love in Neal is dead, so imagine what she will have to say when she then realizes later that the man is still alive, and she now has feelings for someone else.
This is going to be an hour of television that we won’t quite forget anytime soon, as this is finally going to be the episode where we start to find out more about where Colin O’Donoghue’s character actually comes from. This apparently includes him working on a flying ship, and it also focuses on his first meeting with none other than Peter Pan. If his history with the leader of Neverland is anything like that of Rumpelstiltskin’s we are going to be in for a heck of a wild ride.
This Hook backstory is a long time coming, mostly because so much of it was hidden to us as we first met the character last year. This could also help to make him a little bit more accessible to viewers, which is definitely a good thing when you consider that he was at one point the partner-in-crime of Regina’s mother Cora. The biggest issue that we had with him in season 2 is that he was almost constantly defeated by everyone, and we want to see a much tougher side of the character now. Maybe having Emma at his side will help when it comes to boosting some of that confidence?
This episode also draws us near the midway point of the team’s adventures in Neverland, which are expected to last through the first 11 episodes. It is after this point that we will get an opportunity to really see what happens in this world next. Also, we want to point out now that for fans of Ariel, the Little Mermaid is going to swim over to the “Once Upon a Time” universe on the new episode airing in two weeks.
