‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: David Ramsey hypes up cast of villains

More scoop -In the middle of all of the new shows that are launching this week, is it fair to say that “Arrow” may be getting a little lost in the shuffle? This is at least something that we are starting to believe, given that The CW’s superhero show is not going to be on the air until Wednesday, October 9.

But when the show does end up returning to the air, there are a few simple things that you can expect: Villains, new heroes, and also more action-packed sequences than ever before. Speaking on this very subject in a chat with E! News, David Ramsey (otherwise known as Diggle) does his best to hype up how the show plans on actually taking things up another notch even with all of the crazy stuff that they did during the first year:

“Craziness, mayhem. We’re taking it up a level. Season one ended with literally a bang and this is going to get even bigger. A lot of bad guys, Bronze Tiger, Black Canary, a lot of stuff is going to happen. All the bad guys in season one, if they were nine, this season they’re 12.”

Obviously, Ramsey and the other stars are aware of the challenge that they find themselves in now. “Arrow” season 1 may be the most well-received freshman season of any CW show in quite some time, and with more DC characters comes more pressure to do their stories justice. It’s a major challenge, but we’ve developed confidence that the writers and producers behind the scenes are going to find a way to pull all of this off, and still have us cheering and celebrating.
