‘Suits’ season 3, episode 8 preview: Harvey vs. Stephen ramps up again in ‘Endgame’

Suits -There’s a somewhat interesting phenomenon going on right now when it comes to “Suits” season 3. Prior to the start of the season earlier this summer, we were close to being altogether convinced to Mike was going to be the character that we were anxious to see so much more of, in between his relationship with Rachel and whether or not he could repair things with Harvey.

However, we are starting to feel more and more like this season is becoming the Harvey show, and we could not really be happier about it. It’s not a slight against Mike at all, but this whole story with Stephen and Ava is just becoming so good that it is pretty hard to look away from it. Just when you thought that Stephen had everyone under his thumb (or at least Donna and her sphere of influence), the bomb gets dropped on tonight’s episode.

Now, we are getting set in “Endgame” to see professional attorneys from the same firm going at each other in court, and we can only imagine that this cannot end particularly well. Just take a look at the official synopsis below for more details:

“As Ava Hessington’s murder trial begins, Harvey, Mike and Jessica fight off betrayal from both inside the firm and out. Meanwhile, Louis and Donna seek to even the score with those who have done them wrong.”

As we near the end of the show’s summer arc, one of the questions that we do find ourselves asking here is whether or not we are going to see more of Harvey and Stephen going at it in a head-to-head showdown moving into next year, or if we are going to continue to see Michelle Fairley around as the Ava character. Given the title here, we worry that the story could be shifting very soon.
