‘Whodunnit?’ finale review: Was Cris, Lindsey, Kam or Melina the killer?
We have totally fallen in love with “Whodunnit?” this summer and the crazy ride has finally come to an end.
The show has been very good at keeping viewers confused as to who is the killer all season, leaving very few clues for us to wade through and pin point the murderer and although we at times have been nervous about Giles the butler being the killer, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that he was not. So who was the killer?
We are left with Cris, Kam and Lindsey after Melina went “missing” in a fog of smoke last week and with Giles all “tied up” by the killer, the three of them are on the hunt for answers.
The group finds Melina dead in a secret room filled with “trophies” from all of the killer’s murders and Lindsey calls Cris out as the killer (who she has been saying is the killer since the very beginning). Cris says she has cases against both Lindsey and Kam with Lindsey acting strange and Kam knowing how every murder was done and Kam calls an end to the alliance saying it’s every man and woman for themselves… he trusts no one.
The final challenge was a puzzle race, and while that was a lot of fun, we weren’t exactly crazy about the zombie corpses of the other houseguests walking around the mansion, since it pulled us out of the murder mystery show and into some sort of Walking Dead sci-fi series. There were some viewers that were said to have thought that people were really being murdered when the show first started so it could be a way for ABC to show that everyone’s still alive and kicking in zombie form (even though there were “dead confessionals” at the end of each episode showing the same thing). The final clue sends Kam and Cris upstairs to face the killer and sends Lindsey back to the killer’s trophy room where she meets her end with an arrow to the throat.
We have thought for a good portion of the season that either Kam or Cris were going to come out on top as the winner and we were partially right. Kam came out on top winning the show, which isn’t much of a shocker since he not only had a great alliance that carried him far, but also found himself at many times with an advantage because of his deductive skills. Who was the killer? It turned out to be Cris who not only has never gotten a scared card, but also we rarely saw much when it came to her solutions to the murders.
Did you pick Cris as the killer and did you think that Kam was going to win? If you think that ABC needs to renew “Whodunnit?” for a second season like we do, you should definitely take a look here.

I was actually kind of disappointed in the ending. Why did she do it? I wanted a whole sad, twisted back story as to why a beauty pageant queen would suddenly decide to kill 11 people. I absolutely loved every episode of this show except the finale, which just felt rushed and contrived to me. The rest of it played out like an awesome old fashioned murder mystery series, but the final episode was like a hokey game show.

If you watched the episode where they went horseback riding. When the recapped how the murder was committed they messed up and showed a blondish brown haired girl commiting the crime. so just jooking all the remainig contestant Cris was the only one who mathed the women they showed from behind.plus she was the only one on a black horse which is what the killer was ridding

I also think Cris wasn’t the predetermined killer… It played out that the runner up was the killer… Makes most sense

Cris wasn’t picked until the end. The killer would have been anyone who got to the final room second. Plain and simple.
