‘Dexter’ season 8 spoilers: More news on Yvonne Strahovski’s Hannah

How long is Hannah McKay going to be sticking around on “Dexter”? Based on some past evidence, the last episode that we could have seen the character in was airing on Sunday night. However, the latest best of photographic evidence from Showtime clearly changes things a little. (Now, a warning: This does contain some spoilers, even though all of the information was nonetheless released by the network. Proceed with caution.)

The photo that we have attached here is from the tenth episode of the season, which is entitled … “Goodbye, Miami.” Sounds a little bit ominous, no? Well, the easy assumption here would be to make that this is just about Hannah, given that she does not seem particularly interested in staying in a place where she is a wanted woman. Plus, there’s also the possibility that the death of her uber-rich husband could have her in even more trouble.

However, is everything on “Dexter” really this cut and dry? The only thing that makes us particularly suspicious is the thought that the show would choose to name an episode after Hannah just two before the very end. It would just be hard to imagine Dexter himself leaving Miami, given that it is his safe place, and with his Dark Passenger going along with him, it’s pretty hard to know just where the path could take him.

All we can say for now is that the appearance of Deb alone is going to be enough to re-open some pretty substantial wounds between herself and her brother, and the question is going to quickly become whether or not she can accept Hannah and try to make peace with her around, or if something is going to happen to send these three characters splintering apart in a big way.
