‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4, episode 10 review: A Red Coat sighting; Wren is a bad man

Pretty Little Liars -We had yet another crazy edition of “Pretty Little Liars” this week, but to us, one of the craziest things about it was actually that the single craziest moment of it was just a brief shot of Red Coat behind Hanna’s back that happened without her even knowing. This episode was at times great, at times head-scratching, and it puts everyone in an interesting position leading up to the finale.

1. Ezra moves on – What in the world is going on with Ezra Fitz? In making it clear that Malcolm is not really his son, we had a complete correction of a story that was a major source of drama in her life. Now, the only stumbling block that keeps Ezra and Aria from being together is Adam who kissed her in a romantic-comedy way at the end of the episode.

2. Mrs. DiLaurentis is still strange – Emily made the move to stay with her this week, and we do wonder whether she is truly creepy, or just alone and sad. We learned tonight that there was someone living in a secret part of her basement for some time, and that there were some interesting holes in the ceiling of the basement that spelled out “M.”

3. Wren is back, and rather evil – So much for being a good doctor at all. In addition to having a thing for girls far too young for him, he also set up Spencer’s mom to be taken off of the Ashley case. But why? Given that he already has a good job in theory, we don’t understand why he even gets involved in all of this.

4. Hanna and Caleb are at odds – And it’s all about why she is continuing to have herself involved in the fight against “A,” especially when there is really no reason to go it alone. With CeCe Drake on the loose, and her bizarre relationship with Alison made clearer, there needs to be some sort of protection for her.
