‘The X Factor’ USA: See Fifth Harmony’s ‘Miss Movin’ On’ video release

Fifth HarmonyFifth Harmony has went through quite a journey over the past year. When they auditioned for “The X Factor” in the late spring / early summer of 2012, they were five complete strangers with a collective dream of becoming the next big superstar. Then, they were put together into a group, given a name (LYLAS), given another name (1432), and then finally labeled Fifth Harmony by America. From there, the ladies surged their way into third placed, proved to be a threat in the finale, and eventually got their record deal with Epic Records.

Now, we’ve seen the fruit of all of this hard labor: The first music video for “Miss Movin’ On.” This is basically the most colorful carnival we’ve ever seen, complete with bright lines, general craziness, and throwing popcorn. The message here is just as simple as it was when the song first came out: That independence is something that should be celebrated, and you do not need to attach your entire state of happiness to a man.

For those fans out there who are interested in trying to help the group as best as you can, the one piece of advice that we have for you is pretty simple: Just refresh the video, and watch it as many times as you possibly can. The more you listen this way, the more help you will bring to the group’s campaign to rise to the top of the Billboard charts, since they now consider YouTube hits a part of the equation.
