‘Dexter’ season 8, episode 3 preview: One last look at ‘What’s Eating Dexter Morgan?’

For those of you chomping at the bit for the next episode of “Dexter” season 8 to air on Showtime, great news: We are finally almost to the point of it happening. “What’s Eating Dexter Morgan” is going to take us to the end of the first quarter of the season, which to us means that we could be starting to near the point in which it’s time to really start speculating about what we are going to see unfold.

Before we do anything else, let’s start things off here by giving a few more details about the episode officially courtesy of a Showtime press release:

“Dexter searches for the Brain Surgeon. Meanwhile, Dr. Vogel tries to prove to Dexter that he is perfect as a psychopath; and Deb makes a desperate plea when her post-traumatic stress disorder kicks in.”

This “plea” that we are talking about here refers to Deb strongly considering the idea of making a confession to the police about what exactly she ended up doing to LaGuerta at the end of last season, but both Dexter and Dr. Vogel are going to be around to stop her. What we are personally curious to see in here is what sort of psychological ramifications are going to come out of a woman with the sort of power that Evelyn has actually trying to empower a man like Dexter: That is a very dangerous thing to do, and the consequences of it could be severe if she makes one false move in her approach.

Also, be ready to see more of Sean Patrick Flanery as Jacob Elway, who cannot be too pleased with Deb at this very moment.
