‘Supernatural’ season 9: Misha Collins tease; Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles covers

“Supernatural” fans, isn’t there really quite a bit to be happy about? Not only are we now a mere matter of days away from the cast appearing at Comic-Con in San Diego, but production is now actually several days in on the new season.

We’ll start this article off with a Twitter quote from Misha Collins, who is clearly preparing to have a much more active role in this season than the previous two. Judging from what he said here, it does appear like Castiel fans have quite a bit to look forward to moving forward:

“Welcome back SPN Cast & Crew! I hope over hiatus you caught a nap, took your vitamins & got new [tattoos], ’cause Season 9’s gonna be a doozie.”

We know that there are 23 episodes ahead, and for Collins it should be a fun one in order to play Castiel as a human being more so than an angel with any sort of special powers. This is a result of the angels falling from Heaven, which happened alongside Metatron’s takeover at the end of season 8.
