‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 10 spoilers; Shonda Rhimes gives brief update on first scripts

Grey's AnatomyThanks to traveling and some other matters behind the scenes (which includes plenty of writing and planning), Shonda Rhimes has been relatively quiet as of late when it comes to sharing some news regarding “Grey’s Anatomy” season 10, but will that change now that we are starting to slowly near the start of production? We can only hope so, and the latest message from Rhimes on Twitter is definitely a nice start.

While this message does not exactly give anything away when it comes to story or even casting, it does at least suggest that we are nearing the point where work can really be done on the set:

“Scripts for first two GA episodes are On deck and ready to go!! Excited about them!!”

What we’ve told you already about these first two episodes are that firefighters are going to somehow play a role in the story, and that there are multiple guest parts that are being cast for two episodes. This means that we could be looking at a two-hour installment to kick off the year, or it is also possible that the show is leaning more towards having a more-serialized arc that goes from one week to the next as a way to properly get the story rolling in the right direction. That way, some loose ends from last season are tied up, and the rest of the episodes already have some serious momentum.

What do you think is going to happen on “Grey’s Anatomy’s” ninth season? We want to hear some more of your thoughts below! Meanwhile, if you do want to read even more updates pertaining to the possibility of a two-hour premiere, just be sure to head on over to the link here.
