‘The X Factor’ USA / UK notes: Emblem3, Little Mix, One Direction’s movie trailer

We’ve got some great news to share today all across the “X Factor” community, and it’s all about groups. Not only that, but for one of them it is about a group getting the honor to actually release a movie all about their musical journey from virtual nobodies in the public eye to superstars.

What we do really appreciate about One Direction’s “1D: This Is Us” movie trailer is that while these boys are of course being portrayed positively in this film by Simon Cowell and his entire team, they do seem to be very much the same blokes in here that they are in real life. While there are always dating rumors, we can’t sit back here and think about a time in which we’ve ever heard anything bad about these guys. Therefore, there are far worse entertainers to throw your money at.

In other news…

Little Mix – Once again, Jesy Nelson is not dating Eddie from the “Britain’s Got Talent” group the Loveable Rogues (spelled that way on purpose). She confirmed the news in a post on the group’s Twitter.

Emblem3 – As for another group of guys (but this time from the American version of the show), Drew, Keaton, and Wes have announced that for their upcoming tour dates, they will be joined by MKTO. In other news, how much of road warriors are these guys? They’ve been touring ever since releasing “Chloe (You’re the One I Want)” to the radio, a strategy that seems to be paying off, given that the song is moving up the charts.
