‘Breaking Bad’ season 5 spoilers: Bryan Cranston, Vince Gilligan agree over ending

Breaking BadFor those of you wanting to know specifics about the ending to “Breaking Bad,” our advice to you is really pretty simple: Just wait a few months. You’re not going to find anything out until then, even if we do have some lovely little teasers here and there from some of the stars.

The latest example of that? A Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything, for those unfamiliar with the site) featuring star Bryan Cranston, who was gracious with his time and answered a variety of different questions from fans. When asked about whether or not the show ends like he expects, the Emmy-winner and all around master of awesome basically deferred to what Vince Gilligan has said a number of times about the episode being a “victory” for the lead character Walter White, but not necessarily in the way in which that you think:

“Breaking Bad ended the way Vince Gilligan wanted it to… which is exactly what I wanted.”

Cranston also opened up on if there was a moment on the show that he felt we officially saw Walter White “break bad,” and move from a normal high school teacher into someone with the capacity of great evil inside of him:

“My feeling is that Walt broke bad in the very first episode. It was very subtle but he did because that’s when he decided to become someone that he’s not in order to gain financially. He made the Faustian deal at that point and everything else was a slippery slope.”

Cranston also opened up about the infamous pizza scene (he’s still shocked that it was filmed in one take), and also explained that he loves to prank Aaron Paul on set.

How awesome do you think Cranston is for doing this? We want to hear your thoughts below! Also, if you want to check out some more news via Dean Norris, you can do so over at the link here.
