‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 6 spoilers: Maggie Siff talks ‘violent’ season, nervousness
It’s a strange feeling to think that “Sons of Anarchy” is probably going to end its run on FX next year, and much of what we see throughout season 6 may serve as a means to set up the end of the story. These are characters, grisly and at times profane as they may be, that we’ve welcomed in our home. You care about the journey, even if some of them (i.e. Jax) are going down a dark and dangerous road with their bike.
So moving into season 6, how do some of these stars feel? We’ll start with someone in Maggie Siff whose character of Tara is in a more miserable place than most. Right when she thought she would finally escape from Charming and this life, the police arrived at the door. Creator Kurt Sutter has also promised that this will be the most “violent” season yet. So is she nervous? Based on what she told Entertainment Weekly, it sure seems like it:
“None of us feel safe. Everybody on this show is like, Oh god. [Laughs] What’s gonna happen? He’s definitely not afraid to have terrible things happen to the people who are involved in the club. That’s one of the consequences of the life, and I think he’s really trying to pull the curtain back on that. I think we all feel like we’re in the homestretch of this series [which Kurt anticipates lasting seven seasons]. It’s gonna be drawn-out and bloody, but we’re all ready for however that plays out.”
What do you think will happen to Tara this season, and do you expect at least one more person associated with SAMCRO to die this year? If you want to check out more news related to a secret big-name casting, be sure to visit the link here.
