‘Anger Management’ season 2: Selma Blair reportedly fired via text message

Anger ManagementJust in case this entire story regarding Selma Blair’s dismissal from “Anger Management” was not bizarre enough, we now have this new report that makes the firing all the more shocking … and maybe at the same time not that shocking at all, given that one of the players involved here is Charlie Sheen.

According to a new report from Deadline, Blair was not only dismissed via text message from the FX series, but she was also referred to by a very obscene word in it. Reportedly, this is not the only profane text that the actress received from her co-star Sheen, who also doubles as one of the show’s executive producers. Reports had circulated that Selma had bad-mouthed Charlie’s work ethic on set, and that he went haywire once he found out the news.

What makes this story somewhat more interesting is that Blair is reportedly not the only actor who had complained about Sheen as of late, which begs the question as to whether or not Blair’s firing was meant to send some sort of message to the other regulars on the show. We don’t know what the state of the set is going ot be without her, especially given the fact that there are no plans to slow down production on the second half of the 90-episode order despite her exit from the show.  (The writers are going to have to work harder than usual to find a reason why Blair’s Kate is no longer a part of the cast.)

Do you think that Blair really deserved to be fired, and that Sheen is going to have a harder time finding new talent now that this has taken place? We want to hear your thoughts below!
