‘Criminal Minds’ season 9 spoilers: Possible blasts from the past
For the upcoming 9th season of “Criminal Minds,” the show may be at least partially going back to their roots. After all, the plan currently is to potentially see some people that you are going to be very familiar with, both from the standpoint of possible heroes and villains. It’s a smart way to prove that the show has not forgotten about its past, but in addition to that, it may also be an opportunity to merely bring in some old and much-celebrated faces that we have not seen in quite some time.
Speaking in a new interview with TV Guide, executive producer Erica Messer had the following to say about these current plans for the new season, and how they potentially could include bringing back people that we have not seen on the show in quite a long time:
“I’d like to see old unsubs, like we did in [Season 5’s] ‘Outfoxed,’ but do it differently … That might be a world we’ll explore this year — people we’ve hunted in the past. We also have a few unsubs still at large. … Maybe we’ll finally catch them too.”
Since The Replicator was not actually seen breathing his last breath on the finale, it is also possible that we could end up seeing this character urn up again depending on whether or not they want to book Mark Hamill for more (the Force is strong with this one, so we hope he will be back). Now that they know that the entire cast has signed on for more, everyone associated with the show can breathe a massive sight of relief, and try to figure out just where in the world they are going to go with the story from here.
Are there any specific faces from the past on “Criminal Minds” that you’d love to see again? If you want to check out a little bit more news when it comes to The Replicator, all you have to do is click here.

I trust the gifted writers of CM and I’m up for whatever storylines they have to delight us. In all 8 seasons, they’ve only disappointed me once – with the introduction of Beth. They hinted about a love interest for Hotch in Season 8, and I was really looking forward to it; but Bellamy Young just doesn’t cut it. BTW – I’m a huge fan of BY, but she has (IMHO) zero chemistry with Thomas Gibson. Haley was a tough act to follow, but sparks definitely flew between Hotch and Kate Joyner. Unfortunately, they killed her off – yet “Beth the Bore” lives on. Go figure.

I would like to see more of Reid’s Mom and Dad,see more of Reid’s troubled childhood(things that we haven’t already seen. Even see Reid have a health scare(I won’t attempt to try and spell it BUT what his mom has).I didn’t like how they dealt with the storyline where Reid had that drug problem(I guess they didn’t want the viewers to see him actually injecting himself). Hmm
