‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 6 spoilers: ‘Beauty and the Beast’ actress books small role

For those of you “Sons of Anarchy” fans out there, we have some breaking news about one new addition to the show’s season 6 cast,. even if it is a relatively small one in comparison to the ones played by Kim Dickens and CCH Pounder.

According to TVLine, Bridget Regan, most recently of “Beauty and the Beast” in the role of Alex, will appear in some sort of multi-episode arc. There aren’t exactly a bevy of other details floating around out there, but the original report speculates that she could be playing a member of the escort world considering the plans to dive into that scene. We also wouldn’t rule Regan playing someone in prison given that’s where Tara is going at the moment based on what we saw during the season 5 finale.

We are still in the very early days of production on season 6, so we’re sure that some more details will come out on Regan’s character before the show returns in September. We imagine that her arc is probably tied to something that another character has going on, mostly because that is the only real justification for any special guest star on the show. Filming will carry on through the rest of the summer and into the fall, and hopefully at some point we will have some more information about some other people joining the cast, as well.
