‘Homeland’ season 3 spoilers: This has to be the weirdest episode title ever…
From the very beginning “Homeland” has been a series that is all about taking risks, such as putting a show on the air about an American hero who ended up becoming a traitor to his own people. Compared to that, naming an episode title after a few sound effects may seem relatively mundane.
Nonetheless, this is still very much worth sharing for the purposes of comedy alone. According to a report from SpoilerTV, the second episode of the third season is carrying with the title of “Uh… Oo… Aw…”. We”re using the site’s spelling and punctuation, though we’re sure that there are going to be countless various of this very thing that come up over the next few weeks.
So why in the world did they come up with this title? We’re not sure, but there are two things that we can think of right away as a possible representational:
1. The shot someone takes when getting kicked by Carrie in the knee.
2. Something that probably should not be referenced on a site like ours.
If you’re curious, early reports that came in about this episode had the title of “Tower of David,” though this has either changed at some point or early claims were off by an episode. “Tower of David” is actually the third episode of the season, and as much as the episodes in this order are absolutely begging for some more jokes, we’re going to stop ourselves here before things get out of hand.
What’s your take on its title, and are we way off-base here with its possible meaning? (Here’s a hint: We probably are.) Be sure to share your thoughts below!
