‘Burn Notice’ season 7: Check out the action-packed new promo!

On any occasion that you have a show returning for a final season, that typically marks a pretty nice occasion in order to stir things up a little bit. Based on the new promo just released by USA, it definitely looks as though “Burn Notice” is getting rather ready to do that and then some.

The first thing especially worth noting is that we are looking at a pretty substantial time jump between the start of this season and what we saw in season 6. To be specific, about a year has passed since Michael Westen first made the risky move to try and protect those close to him be effectively falling on his own sword and joining the organization he was once so desperate to flee from.

However, the promo makes it very clear that nothing is really happening as it should for either him or some of his friends. Miami has turned into a chaotic environment, as his mother is being harassed, and Michael’s past is once again colliding with his present. We don’t know for sure how Fiona and the rest of the crew will reunite with him, but we are excited to find out.

USA is wasting no time making sure that everyone knows that this is Michael’s last hurrah, and for more evidence of it, you don’t have to look any further than all of the mentions plastered throughout the promo.
