ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 2 finale review: Olivia Pope’s [spoiler] is out
Olivia Pope is probably going to need that white hat now for an entirely different purpose: To try and cover her face. Thursday night brought to us an end to “Scandal” season 2 that was without a doubt dramatic, mostly because there were so many twists that a Twizzler would be jealous by it.
Let’s just start with the stunner at the very end: Not only is Olivia’s father on the scene, but the secret about her affair came out when she least expected it, and actually just after she and Fitz had seemingly chosen to end things. What happened here? Was this a test of devotion on Mellie’s part, or the work of someone else? Regardless of what the reasoning is, the clear truth now is that this is going to be a problem that even the best fixer in the world (and you know who that is) may not be able to do anything about it.
Before this ever happened, the shockers kept rolling in as David Rosen was revealed to be a very different man than who everyone thought, and someone that is going to push Olivia Pope & Associates into hell. This revelation alone led to him gaining some leverage over Cyrus, who had the worst episode ever in between the heart attack and having to deal with more intelligence that could destroy the President’s career.
When the dust settles, Thursday’s finale will probably be remembered by most as the day that the Olivia / Fitz relationship went to die, at least for now. Nothing is never permanent, but do you think that she will really be able to get over the President being a murderer?
How are you feeling about the “Scandal” finale? Do you think that Olivia is ever going to forgive Fitz over what transpired? If you want to see what we’d like to see change on the show for the third season, all you have to do is read our story over at the link here.

I love Scandal and can’t wait for season 3. I hope Liv and Fitz can find their way back to each other. The chemistry between them is what got me hooked on Scandal in the first place. The show is good, but it is REALLY good with the Liv and Fitz love affair.
Disappointed
