ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 2, episode 20 preview: Does Cyrus have a secret?

Everyone wants to know on “Scandal” at the moment who is the mole, and we may be getting closer to finding out an answer then ever before. Based on the latest sneak peek released by ABC, it looks as though we have ourselves another potential suspect.

The content of this video is pretty simple: When Olivia walks into the room, it is pretty clear to her (and to us) that the Gladiators are hiding something pretty significant from her. What could it be? They think he is the mole, at least based on some surveillance footage that certainly puts him in a suspicious light.

Unfortunately, we don’t really have any more evidence to back up this theory. All we really know is that the mole storyline is going to be wrapped up in some shape or form by the end of the season, and we will have an opportunity to see some of the steps to take us there. While Jake has clearly been a subject throughout, David Rosen is one of the trendier picks of fans online, mostly because he is one of the few characters on the show that we haven’t quite seen show off this side.

What is most impressive for “Scandal” is that they really managed to basically create two seasons’ worth of story-lines, and cram them into one. While we weren’t quite sure what this “back nine” was going to look like after the assassination story, Shonda Rhimes and company have found a way to make things interesting.
