ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2, episode 20 preview: Emily and Daniel’s stunning news

As if the fact that Emily Thorne and Daniel Grayson are engaged was not enough to make Victoria quiver in her heels, the latest sneak peek from Sunday night’s “Revenge” season 2 should be enough to make her absolutely paralyzed with fear. After all, we are gearing up to see some news that Victoria probably never saw coming in a million years: Her baby boy may take off to another part of the world.

In the video below, Conrad starts things of by “congratulating” the couple on their engagement, and following a predictably snarky comment from Madeleine Stowe’s character, Emily shares the news that in two weeks’ time, she and Daniel are planning to move to Paris to start a life together.

So is this really part of the plan? We have to be a little hesitant on that for a number of reasons:

1. Grayson Global. Hello?

2. What would Aiden think about this? Hasn’t the guy suffered enough?

3. Emily clearly cannot execute everything that she wants to upon the Graysons while also being halfway around the world in France.

Despite the fact that there is some serious scheming and strategics going on here, this revelation does raise the stakes for the final three hours of the season. In order to risk doing something that she may not be prepared to do, Emily is going to have to think pretty quickly on her feet, and know exactly how best to initiate her plan. Not only that, but she’ll also have to hope for some additional distractions from her friends (including Nolan, who has been asked by Victoria for help finding her long-lost other son).
