‘Britain’s Got Talent’ preview: Francine Lewis hopes to make an impression (video)
After what was an entertaining and highly-rated premiere of “Britain’s Got Talent” last weekend, Saturday’s show is looking to be bringing some more craziness to all of the UK; and based on the new sneak peek that we have below for the show, it appears as though it is going to deliver in spades.
We have to say that we already have the best comedian that we have seen so far this season in Francine Lewis, who we enjoy even though her impressions are probably not going to appeal to anyone watching the show outside of the UK. Not only is she pretty spot-on with her voice, she also understands that there is also a certain element of performance that has to go into this. If you can melt the ice around Simon Cowell and make him laugh with you (rather than at you, which many acts accomplish), then you are probably doing a pretty good job.
Will Lewis get four “yes” votes and be sent straight on through to the next round? Doesn’t that seem like a bit of a no-brainer at this point? The real question is just how many great acts will be joining her. We know that ITV would never give us a clip of their last-spot audition to show off, so you can bet on at least one more entertaining person. Even if the vast majority of them are bad, though, know this: we at least still have the comic stylings of one David Walliams to look forward to.
