‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4 spoilers: Claire Holt’s role in ‘The Originals’
Do you love yourself some Rebekah? Well, the sad news is that while she will be featured very prominently in the “Vampire Diaries” spin-off series “The Originals” if it gets picked up, she’s not going to have nearly as substantial a role in the backdoor pilot that airs a week from Thursday.
What is the reason for that? Basically, it all comes down to a matter of mere negotiation. According to Zap2It, the reason for her lack of a big role in the episode is because it had yet to be confirmed that she was going to be in the spin-off at the time in which it was written. She was the last of the major “Vampire Diaries” characters to sign on to the show, even though it was long assumed that she was going to be a part of it.
Trying to get specific details for the time being about this episode are rather difficult, save for the fact that Klaus heads back to his old stomping grounds in New Orleans and meets up with Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), an old partner-in-crime of his who is now running the show for the city’s supernatural community. Elijah following him down, and we are sure some sort of action and hijinks ensue. After all, how do you contain a character so wicked (and so violent) in a city that is already as wild and crazy as they come?
What do you want to see happen during this “Originals” episode, and do you think that Rebekah is the most intriguing member of the family? If you want to watch a video preview for Thursday night’s “Pictures of You,” be sure to hit up the story over at the link here.
