ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 5, episode 20 preview: The rise of Bigfoot

Nathan FillionOn Monday night, “Castle” celebrated his 100th episode with surprises, fun, and overall an hour of television that has to be one of the most entertaining hours of television that we’ve seen in quite a long time. So where does the show go from there? First, it’s going to take a week to calm down off of this high, and on April 15, it will be back to doing what it does best: trying to solve cases that are, to say the least, obscure.

You certainly cannot get any stranger than next week’s “The Fast and the Furriest,” as it features a murder that may have been committed by none other than Bigfoot. We’ll shut up about the fact that “Psych” did a very similar episode now and never speak of it again, mostly because “Castle” has an opportunity here to one-up the USA show (which really didn’t use this story to its full potential).

Check out the fully synopsis below from ABC, which should give you a better idea of what to expect alongside the promo:

“When Castle and Beckett find giant footprints at the site of a vicious murder, the team is forced to confront the unlikely theory that Bigfoot is the killer. But as they trek into the world of primate research, big game hunting and mythological creatures, they realize that finding the man (or beast) responsible may put them on the endangered species list.”

Of course, we’re almost 120% positive that there is some other explanation for what went down here, but the fun and the challenge of this will be seeing how the team is able to put all of the pieces together, and ultimately go from point A (Bigfoot) to point B (finding the real killer).
