ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 5 finale spoilers: Title unknown?
For several weeks now, we have assumed that the season 5 finale of “Castle” is going to be entitled “Still.” Why? There were a couple of reasons. For one, the season 4 finale was entitled “Always,” and this seemed to be the natural continuation of that as a reminder almost that Castle and Beckett were still going strong. In addition to that, it was numbered 3×24, and we know that there are 24 episodes in this season thanks to a recent extension.
As it turns out, though, there may still be one surprise left for this show yet. In a new series of posts on Twitter, one of the show’s writers in Terri Edda Miller had the following to say:
“The season finale is not called “STILL” episode 524 is NOT the season finale. It’s the extra episode & will be after 520. The finale is 523 … The season finale, 523 is not yet titled. 524, the extra ep is going btwn 520 & 521. 524 is called STILL. It’s just a numbering thing.”
We have already learned that the finale is going to revolve in part around some sort of bomb scare, and everything that the characters do in order to maintain it. While there are probably some other issues that are going to be resolved (including whether or not Castle ever opens up and what happens with Ryan’s wife and her pregnancy), we don’t know for sure whether or not any of them will have resolution until the show comes back in the fall.
What do you want the season finale this year titled? Be sure to share your thoughts below! Also, you can catch our review of last night’s new episode here if you haven’t already.
The 100th episode of “Castle” is going to air Monday night at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Just don’t break Caskett up….I hate that. It’s manipulative and after a while fans get tired of it.
