‘All-Star Celebrity Apprentice’: Claudia Jordan says she, Omarosa no longer friends

Claudia JordanSometimes, what happens in the boardroom does not always end up staying there, and for more evidence of this, you don’t really have to look any further than what happened with Claudia Jordan and Omarosa on this season of “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice.” When the two ladies entered the show, after all, they did so as good friends that were hoping to win money for their charity. However, by the time things were done they could hardly stand each other, and that mutual dislike has seemingly bled somewhat into real life.

So what exactly happened to cause the friendship to fall apart? Think of it as the former “Deal or No Deal” model thinking that Omarosa’s behavior on the Donald Trump show being something that she did just for airtime, and for not believing that she would find herself in similar crosshairs if the situation arose throughout the season. Speaking in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter following her firing, Jordan explained a little bit about how this show is all Omarosa really has to prop up her career at this point:

“Well let’s face it, she’s at the end of her 15 minutes and has extended it several times. She had to go for the jugular to keep people talking about her. Everybody on the show had careers before, during and after going on reality TV. … Omarosa is Omarosa from Celebrity Apprentice. That’s it. If she doesn’t go hard and give what people expect from her, that’s it. I never watched her on The Apprentice, but we developed a friendship outside of that. I had heard about her behavior and assumed that it was a character she played on TV.”

As for why Jordan did not bring Omarosa back into the boardroom with her after losing her task as Project Manager, she really had a pretty simple explanation for it: she didn’t think she was going to get fired since she really didn’t do that much wrong in the task, and all bringing her in would have done was cause a fight and generate more trouble for herself. Therefore, her target was who she really thought to be the weakest performer in Dennis Rodman.

Do you think we are going to be seeing Omarosa join Claudia out the door pretty soon? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below, and you can also read our full review of Sunday night’s episode over at the link here.
