‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 spoilers: Is there more hope for Aria and Ezra?

For those of you who count Aria and Ezra of “Pretty Little Liars” as one of your favorite pairs on scripted TV these days (and it’s understandable if you do), you’re probably feeling rather gutted at the moment over the fact that the two seemingly are no longer an item after a pretty emotional end to the show’s third season this past week.

But is there really that much of a reason to be downtrodden forever? We don’t think so. As a matter of fact, show executive producer Marlene King recently told a fan on Twitter that “there’s always hope” for a reconciliation between the two at some point, so even if Aria moves on or even develops a new love interest at some point during season 4, it’s no reasons to believe that she and Rosewood’s newest substitute teacher are going to be apart forever.

After all, if you want a reason to be hopeful right now, just look at what has been going on in regards to Toby. Following the big reveal that he was a part of the “A Team” during the summer finale, it seemed as though there was no way that anyone was ever going to be able to recover from that and move forward. However, they managed to do just that in the season finale, and while there may not be smooth sailing ahead for them, they are far and away closer to being a real couple now than they have been in quite a long time.
