‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: A Cory Monteith photo to make your brain explode
“Glee” is going to be on hiatus until April, and the unfortunate thing out that is that for at least the next few weeks, we are sure to probably see a little bit less in the way of scoop than we do typically throughout the spring. However, we do have something now that should more than make up for it: a photo that will literally make you want to go back and watch the pilot episode all over again.
If you’ve been following the show online the past week, then you are probably very aware of the rumors that Lea Michele’s Rachel Berry is going to be reprising the classic “Don’t Stop Believin'” for a very key moment in her life moving forward this scene; and based on the photo that we have for you below, you pretty much have proof.
Yes, that is Cory Monteith back on the drums, and everything from the William McKinley Jazz Ensemble design to the red t-shirt is exactly the same as it once was. nearly four years ago when this episode aired. It’s amazing to think of just how much has changed for both the characters and the actors since that time: we believed that the characters featured in the performance (Finn, Rachel, Mercedes, Tina, Kurt, and Artie) were going to be the driving forces of the rest of the show along with Will, Sue, and Puck, but this has turned out to not really be the case. As a matter of fact, there are at least two characters we’ve mentioned above that we haven’t seen on the show in over a month.
Hopefully, bringing the gang back together will allow the original New Directions to get in touch with their roots a little bit, and possibly set the stage for what is to come the rest of the season. It’s been a crazy one at times, and really its biggest problem may merely be that there are too many characters and not enough time.
