‘Bones’ season 8, episode 19 review: Moving on?
For those of you who love a fun “Bones” mystery, you really had it Monday night. Not only did we have a case that brought to the show something pretty new, it was also pretty time appropriate given what was going on at the end of last year: all of the theories that the world was going to be over. Not only that, but the show had a little bit of fun with all of those “Doomsday Preppers” shows that are out there; but at the same time, they did a pretty good job still of making it feel as though these people are still human.
While we could focus on the mystery here, we have a feeling that this is really not going to be the thing that everyone talks about after the fact. Instead, it was getting the opportunity to see Sweets finally move out of Booth and Brennan’s place. This was a story that first kicked off in the fall, and the real irony there was simply that it was never supposed to last as long as it did! However, the dynamic between him, Booth, and Brennan living at the same place ended up being too good to pass up, and therefore they ran with it for a little while.
Ultimately, we have a feeling that Sweets is going to be rather pleased with his new accommodations, as he has a pair of roommates that are also probably going to help him with one of the other problems that he has been going through this year: the end of his relationship with Daisy.
