‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4: Ian Somerhalder, Paul Wesley talk ‘Bring It On’
We never really expected to ever see a cheerleading-themed episode of “The Vampire Diaries” at any point over the course of the show’s run, but this is what we are seeing courtesy of “Bring It On,” the next new episode airing in just two days.
So what will the story in general be? While there are some details that remain rather vague, series star Claire Holt (Rebekah) explains below in the new video from MTV’s “10 On Top” that her character will still be a part of the hunt for the cure, and is going to be spending a good bit of time with Damon in the process. (This is only strange in that the character has really devoted a great deal of time lately with another Salvatore brother in Stefan.)
Instead of spending most of this chat talking about scoop, though, the main point of discussion was instead the fine sport of cheerleading. Somerhalder joked that if Damon was a cheerleader, his main skill would be throwing women up into the air. Meanwhile, Paul Wesley did his part to explain why Ian would be a great cheerleader, and Hot said that her signature move would be to sit at the bottom of the pyramid, and then go away and eat cupcakes once it was over. (Translation: Claire has no interest at all in being a cheerleader.) This should make for a fun episode, and we love how these clips show some of the actors’ chemistry away from their filming responsibilities.
