NBC’s ‘Revolution’: ‘Wanted’ photos are the next big thing

Revolution LogoWhen you look at the miserable ratings that NBC has drawn at times in 2013 thus far, there is really one thing you have to say: the network needs “Revolution” to not only return in a bad way, but also bring back many of the viewers that were with it in the fall. The latter is probably going to be the most difficult challenge, mostly because it is always a close-to-impossible challenge to try and find a way to convince people to keep watching your show after it has been off the air for pretty much four months.

For NBC, this is where the challenge comes in of trying to find the best way to get the promotional efforts for the show off of the ground. So what’s the latest strategy? Take a look below.

RevolutionUsing Elizabeth Mitchell’s Rachel Matheson, this “wanted” poster to the left serves the purpose of at least keeping people talking about the show, and we also argue that it does a pretty darn good job at really continuing to keep people engaged with the story, and it also sets the stakes that these characters are going to find themselves in almost right away. Rachel has been able to survive for so long mostly because she realized that knowledge is power; but based on everything that she did in the fall finale, is she really going to be able to do that anymore? That is what is currently unclear.

We already know that Monroe is not the only leader that “Revolution” will present to us moving forward, as the show is already slowly and surely starting to prepare for us something that is far more widespread in scale. We will not only have the opportunity to learn why the power went off, but there will be some new mysteries that help to push forward the mythology.
