‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6, episode 18 preview: Sheldon as teacher

Big Bang TheoryAfter a brief absence, “The Big Bang Theory” is set to return to CBS on Thursday night, and we already know that this is going to be an episode quite like no other. Why? It’s not particularly often that you get to see Dr. Sheldon Cooper step completely out of his element … especially when that element includes dealing with children.

With that in mind, get ready for some condescension and some fireworks during this upcoming episode, as Leonard and Howard try to help the man educate a group of middle school students. Do you really think that this is going to end well? If you have watched this show regularly over the years, then you already know that the answer to this question is “probably not.”

For those of you have a keen eye, you should notice that one of the students sitting in the audience during the promo is none other than former “X Factor” USA star Diamond White, which we were one of the first to point out a number of weeks ago. We don’t know if she has any speaking lines or not, but she will be one of many people subjected to Sheldon’s wrath in an episode that actually has more actors on stage than almost any the show has done. (Considering the quick turnaround on episodes, it is surprising that they were able to book so many children and get the show filmed in the right amount of time in the first place.)

What do you want to see happen in this episode? If there is one final tease that we will leave you with on this episode, it is that there will be at least one character that really takes something from this season … even to the point where they start to question their career path.
