‘The Walking Dead’ season 3 spoilers: Short teases for the next episode
“The Walking Dead” is a series that achieves quite a few things week after week: it gets your heart pumping, it entertains, but more than anything else, it surprises. There are not many shows out there (especially adaptations of work that is already out there) that manage to really have you sitting on your edge of your seat to figure out what happens next.
So are there any significant deaths coming up? While you better believe it will be so by the end of the season (going more off of past history than anything else), there’s not much word on whether or not anyone will perish by the end of Sunday night’s new episode. According to TVLine, we will specifically have the opportunity to see a couple of interesting things unfold:
1. At least one character is going to see what is effectively a ghost from their past, and it will be intriguing to see how they react to it. (Daryl has already had to deal with this sort of thing in the form of Merle.)
2. There will be plenty of footage this week involving Michonne, Carl, and Rick, including what is a very touching moment for Danai Gurira’s character. After seeing her dip in and out of the story all season long, this news alone is rather welcome.
This episode will carry us into the home stretch of the season, as following this one (entitled “Clear”), there are only going to be four more installments until we come to yet another shocking finale.
In case you have not heart yet, production on “The Walking Dead” season 4 will begin in Atlanta in early May, and now that Scott M. Gimple has been confirmed as the new showrunner, the gang can get to work trying to create more shockers moving forward.
