ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2 spoilers: How will Jack move forward?

Thanks to the lengthy “Revenge” hiatus, we’ve already had some time to think about how Emily Thorne is going to move forward with her plans now that Amanda Clarke is dead. However, we feel as though we have in many ways neglected Jack Porter, who has to be more important than anyone considering that he was, after all, the dearly departed’s husband.

So is this man going to be able to handle the fact that his wife is dead right away, and how will he start to react to the fact that the Graysons are in part responsible for all of this? Gabriel Mann (otherwise known as Nolan) has a pretty good idea of what is coming up for the show, and he had the following to say about it in a new interview with E! News:

“I think you’re going to start seeing a very different Jack then you’ve seen … Personally, when I started seeing some of the scripts that were coming out it was like, ‘Great, finally!’ You know it’s going to make it complicated in some of his friendships and relationships coming up, this new kind of character twist, but it’s so fun. “

Does this quote mean that we are going to see a darker side to this Jack character? While Mann does not explicitly say it, you have to imagine that it could be coming up based on everything we do know about what he has been through. This is a man that will be very motivated to try and right the many wrongs in his life, and Emily sure could use an ally if the two ever decide to team up in any capacity.
