‘Dancing with the Stars’: Talk on ‘Bachelor’ Sean Lowe, ‘Bachelorette’ Emily Maynard

Even though there was no one from “The Bachelor” franchise introduced into the cast of “Dancing with the Stars” earlier this week, that does not necessarily mean that no one will be involved with the season. Why? As we teased on Tuesday morning, the producers may be waiting to make the announcement during the live “After the Final Rose” special on March 11, that way they can try to push people over the viewing the show based on an announcement that is made during one of the most-watched moments of the entire year.

A source confirms to Wetpaint some of our suspicions, and suggests that not only will Sean be a part of the cast (which levels it out to six guys and six girls), but he will be partnered with Peta Murgatroyd, who worked with Gilles Marini last season and whose ballroom credits also include Metta World Peace and champion Donald Driver. She’s one of the more intense pros on the show, so hopefully her attitude will balance out Sean’s goofy personality.

There is also an interesting story floating around via Us Weekly that Sean’s former “Bachelorette” Emily Maynard was really hoping to be on the show this year, and disappointed that it didn’t quite work out for her. While Emily has denied rumors that she and Sean are having some sort of affair together now, she has not addressed this one. It’s not particularly fair to really speculate, but if the show’s producers were ever considering her, Sean’s personality really ruled out any other alum from the show as a candidate the moment that he said he wanted to do it. “The Bachelor” this season has been a ratings beast, and even if he does not want to be a celebrity or remain in the public eye, the paycheck here is something that can help set you up well for your future.
